PlayStation 4 and PC pre-load is yet to go live but the download size on the Xbox One gives us a clearer picture on what to expect from the download size on the other two platforms. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is officially launching on 25 October 2019 but the pre-load option is exclusively live on Xbox One and the download size is 137.66 GB. The publisher did not say how big the download will be on launch day, but today, we have a first look at the actual size of the game file. They said that on launch, Modern Warfare won't require that much space but it's a requirement for all the post-launch content that will arrive later. Recently, the developer Infinity Ward and publisher Activision released the official PC system requirements for the game and one thing that stuck out to many players was the required hard drive space.Ĭall of Duty: Modern Warfare requires a whopping 175 GB of your storage space and Activision even had to explain why the requirement is so high.
